Pam Wilson – Director, RTDC

Pam has been at UMF for nine years as Director of various programs from the ACCESS Office Gold Leaf Institute, Summer Session, Winter Session to her recent position as the Director of the Regional Teacher Development Center and the Office of Outreach Education.

Karen Bean, CAS  – Program Coordinator

Karen is the newest member of the RTDC staff. Karen has been an educator for nearly forty years, teaching elementary, middle, high school and adult students.  She spent her last seven years as a school counselor in middle and high school.  Karen was certified in 1995 by the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards in Early Adolescence/Language Arts and earned her Certificate of Advanced Study in counseling from the University of Southern Maine in 2001.

Sandy Griswold, Ph.D. – Mentor Program Coordinator

Sandy is the Mentor Program Coordinator and the primary contact person out in the field to help make necessary connections for certification, induction, etc. In her former life Sandy was a Band Director for 25 years and Adjunct Percussion Instructor at UMM. She also holds conditional principal certification and is a graduate of Capella University in Educational Leadership, K-12.

Valerie Soucie – Administrative Assistant

Valerie is our very capable administrative assistant who keeps track of registrations, forms, and numerous databases. She also is the center of all information for the RTDC. She can probably answer any question you might have!
